(1 Elastic) Bow Made From Hair, Easy Hairstyles

How to make a hair bow with hair using only one elastic!

You have probably all seen some type of bow out of hair, as many fun variations of this style are all over Pinterest, Youtube, Instagram, etc.  Some know this hairstyle as the "Lady Gaga hairbow," or the "Hello Kitty hairbow." But, we recently came upon a new EASY way of making a "hair bow" and wanted to share it with you!

We actually stumbled upon this technique by accident.  For a quick school hairstyle one morning, we were using a topsy tail to flip the top of the princess's ponytail under... and accidentally stuck the end of the flipping tool through one strand of the elastic on the way through.  As you will see in our video below... this was the start of a new bow!

We absolutely love this feminine style, as it is great for many occasions and only takes a few minutes to create.  You could make the bow using all of your hair at the top of a ponytail like we did, or you could make a half up style if you wanted to.  This hairstyle is casual enough for every day (such as school or work) but could also be worn for more elegant occasions such as church, a wedding, Prom, Homecoming, Valentine's Day, or other dance / date.
