Pinwheel Bun Tutorial princesshairstyles.com
Today's hair tutorial shows how to create a bun using a "bun maker or bun foundation" (which the Princess calls a hair donut.) As you can see, this bun is not your standard ballet bun, but much more unique and interesting!

The Princess has worn this bun several times since we filmed the tutorial, and each time has received many compliments and lots of attention.  I'm sure you will too! And, although this hairstyle looks quite intricate and difficult to create, it is actually very easy (which is always a plus.)

Supplies needed:* 1 bun foundation, bun maker, hair donut, bun sock, or similar.  (There are many varieties of these available.) We purchased ours at Sally Beauty Supply and I remember it being around $3-$4.  I have also seen them at Walgreens and online at Amazon: Conair Bun Maker Set .  For us, it was worth purchasing because we actually use it quite often.  If you would rather not spend any money, you could always cut the toe out of a sock and roll it up to form the donut shape.  I would recommend finding something similar to the color of your hair.
